- If you have medical or psychiatric conditions, you are required to report these to Mind Emotion Coach for your and the therapist’s safety and ensure with your primary healthcare providers that the therapy is safe for you. You bear responsibility for this.
- Mind Emotion Coach is not liable for any negative consequences arising from services delivered according to the EFT International code of conduct (Netherlands), CAT regulations, and the Dutch law.
Professional Organization Membership
Mind Emotion Coach is a licensed member of the Collectief Alternatieve Therapeuten (CAT) with license number 131992024-09-30. CAT screening ensures competence and reliability in alternative therapy practices. Membership with CAT provides legal and professional recognition, access to complaints and dispute resolution bodies such as GAT, and eligibility for professional liability insurance discounts. The CAT affiliation represents a commitment to quality, professionalism, and client safety.
Confidentiality and Privacy
- Information sharing is necessary for effective therapy; notes and forms supporting the process are stored.
- Mind Emotion Coach complies with EFT International affiliation and Dutch law (AVG/GDPR) to treat all information shared confidentially within the therapeutic relationship.
- Exceptions include:
- Client consent via signed authorization to share info;
- Legal obligations to disclose;
- Situations posing danger to client or others, where Mind Emotion Coach must notify relevant parties.
Booking, Sessions, and Payment
- Booking details (date, location/link, price, payment method) are communicated by email before appointments.
- Sessions require prepayment either before the session or before the first session of a series. Mind Emotion Coach may cancel sessions if payment is not received.
- Subsequent payments in a series have a 14-day payment term.
- Payments accepted via iDEAL, Stripe, or bank transfer to the specified account.
- Services are subject to 21% VAT; invoices available upon request. Sessions are not reimbursed by health insurance.
- Sessions/packs must be used within one year of payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancel sessions up to 24 hours in advance, with a full refund.
- Partial cancellations in packages will void associated discounts on remaining sessions.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or after session start incur a €30 administration fee.
Complaints and Guarantees
- The international complaints procedure follows the EFT International Code of Conduct (available on the website).
- The Dutch complaints procedure is described by GAT (also available on the website).
- Mind Emotion Coach cannot guarantee results and is no substitute for regular psychological or medical care.

- Complaints regarding services can be directed to info@mindemotioncoach.com.
- For independent dispute resolution and mediation, clients can obtain more information and support from the Dutch complaints authority GAT (Geschillencommissie Alternatieve Therapeuten) via their website: gatgeschillen.nl (in Dutch).
- GAT provides an accessible procedure for complaints and disputes related to alternative therapy practices, including coaching and EFT therapy, aiming for fair and impartial resolution between clients and therapists.
- Mind Emotion Coach is committed to cooperating fully with GAT procedures and respects clients’ rights to access these dispute resolution mechanisms.
Data Protection and Privacy Policy
- Mind Emotion Coach processes personal data under GDPR/AVG regulations exclusively for coaching services.
